ITF Standard Tennis Courts

Woxsen University has two ITF Standard Lawn Tennis Courts, equipped with floodlighting for evening play, making them perfect for both recreational use and professional training. Each court spans an area of 26x12 yards and is surfaced with synthetic acrylic flooring. This textured, pigmented, and resin-bound coating with a bitumen base helps prevent injuries and allows for superior ball control.

Notably, the US Open and Australian Open Grand Slam tournaments are held on acrylic-topped hard courts, where the ball tends to bounce high, favouring all-round players like Novak Djokovic. These courts' balanced nature makes them ideal for diverse playing styles. Additionally, many Olympic tennis events have been played on hard courts. By offering such Olympic and international standard facilities, Woxsen University ensures its students receive a world-class sporting experience.
