1. Anti-Ragging Policy

RAGGING IN ANY FORM IS PROHIBITED IN WOXSEN UNIVERISTY

Ragging is a criminal offense and UGC has framed regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions in order to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging. In pursuance to the Judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 08.05.2009 in Civil Appeal No.887/2009,in exercise of the powers conferred by clause(g) of sub-section (1) of section 26 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956, the UGC notified “Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009”. These regulations are mandatory for all universities/institutions.

2. Student Grievance Redressal Policy

To curb any acts of ragging on the campus, Woxsen University has constituted a committee on Anti-Ragging as per the UGC regulation on curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions (Third Amendment), 2016.

3. Policy against Sexual Harassment

Woxsen University is committed to create and maintain a community in which students, faculty and staff can work together in an environment free of violence, harassment, exploitation, and intimidation. This includes all forms of Human Rights violations including Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Based on Gender.

Woxsen University aims to create an environment in which students, faculty, staff, and individuals affiliated with constituent schools can freely exchange ideas and thoughts, build their intellectual curiosity, and celebrate the School's diversity. Woxsen University (WU) recognizes and respects the individual’s privacy and the security of Personal Information (PI) and is committed to protecting it throughout by complying with this Privacy Policy (Policy). The University does not intend to sell, swap, rent, or otherwise disclose for commercial purposes, outside the scope of ordinary University functions, your name, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, or other biometric information you provide.
