Dr. V.J. Byra Reddy is a distinguished academic leader, educator, and quality assurance expert with over 25 years of experience in higher education. As Vice Chancellor of Woxsen University, he brings a strong vision for academic excellence, innovation-driven learning, global collaborations, and institutional transformation.

He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Mangalore University and a postgraduate degree in Economics from Bangalore University. Widely recognized for his pioneering contributions to quality assurance and accreditation in higher education, Dr. Reddy currently serves as Chair of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).

An accomplished scholar and educator, Dr. Reddy’s expertise spans managerial economics, international business, research methods, and public policy. He has collaborated internationally with universities and institutions across Sri Lanka, Turkey, France, and the Philippines, contributing to global academic partnerships and cross-border educational initiatives. He has authored scholarly articles in national and international journals and has actively engaged with educational think tanks shaping the future of higher education.
