The halftone pattern within the circle "O" of Woxsen University's logo is a powerful visual metaphor for the university's mission. In this pattern, created through the strategic use of dots varying in size and spacing, generates a gradient-like effect.
Each dot in the halftone pattern represents an individual students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders each contributing their unique perspective and talents to the university community. Just as each dot is essential to form a complete image, every member of Woxsen University plays a crucial role in its success and evolution.
The circular form of the halftone pattern suggests inclusiveness and a global perspective. It emphasizes Woxsen University's aim to make a positive impact on a global scale by fostering international collaborations, encouraging cultural exchange, and producing graduates who are prepared to make a difference in the world.
Ferro is Phoenix based mascot. It represents the sports and strength, It's emphasis on parallels of the Nature of Phoenixes to reborn from death and unmatched spirit of a man to bounce back from Failures.
Talking about New-Age, Agility, Strength, Versatility and Altruistic, FERRO can be a powerful and majestic representation to all traits. With its strong wings and fiery nature, this Phoenix inspired character embodies the spirit of perseverance, renewal, and triumph over adversity. Adding holism, strength and dynamism to the University, embodying the qualities of strength, resilience, and determination. The colors used are also tied to power, nobility, wisdom, enthusiasm and excitement, tranquility and peace, the red symbolizing passion, sacrifice, courage, love and joy.
This mascot was thoughtfully designed by our talented student from the School of Arts & Design, Saai Roghit, under the mentorship of Asst. Dean Vishakha Rao.
