Dr. R.V.R. Krishna Chalam holds a Ph.D. in Environment Science and Technology from IST, JNTU, Hyderabad, while he also holds a PGDM in Shipping & Export Management from NISIT, Viskhapatnam.
With a profound work experience of 27 years, he has been reckoned at the position of Dean, Executive Council Member of University, Member of University Research Board, University Entrepreneurship and Innovation Council at prominent Institutions of the country.
His 8 years of Industry experience highlights 40+ projects sponsored by World Bank, DFID, Central and State Government, International GIS projects related to Land Base, Utility Mapping & Spatial Data Conversion of Japan, USA, Austria, Oman, Australia, UAE, Canada, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
His areas of experience spans to successful accomplishment of private projects for prominent companies & establishments like India Cement, Tata Electric, Tata Tele services, Reliance, Bharathi Telecom, Himachal Futuristic, Indian Telephone Industries, Nortel Networks and many more.
He was successful in conducting research on Development of Effective Wireless Sensor Network System for Water Quality and Quantity Monitoring under the Ministry Communication & Information Technology, Govt. of India, with a total outlay of 2.9 Cr. His ongoing project called ICT Grand Challenge for Smart Water Quality Monitoring and Quantity Metering Development and Field Deployment Smart Water Quality Monitoring and Quantity Metering for 25 Villages across the country comes under the NJJM Project with total outlay of 750K Cr., standing in Top 5 out of 300+ applicants across India.
M Rammohan Rao, Professor Emeritus was the Dean at the ISB from 2004 to 2009. Prof Rao’s tenure had seen global recognition to ISB in the form of 20th ranking by the Financial Times.
He was a tenured Professor of Operations Research at the Stern School of Business, New York University. Besides the University of Rochester and the University of Tennessee, he has held various positions at IIM Bangalore including Director(March 1997 to May 2002), Dean and Professor. He has published over 85 articles in professional journals.
He has a Ph.D. in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He holds Bachelors in Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, a Master in Engineering and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management.
Dr. Vishnuprasad Nagadevara is a faculty member of the Quantitative Methods & Information Systems area at IIMB from 1976. He was also the Dean of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from 1997 to 2000.
Dr. Nagadevara received the PMI Distinguished Scholar Award for his noteworthy contribution to project management education and training, research and consultancy in 2011 from PMI (Project Management Institute) the world’s leading professional membership organization for project managers.
He has undertaken many consulting assignments for both private and public organizations such as United Nations Development Program, WIPRO, POWERGRID, ETA (UAE), ICICI, Pfizer, Fidelity, Government of India, Government of Karnataka to name a few.
His research area includes Data Mining techniques and applications, Application of Operations Research Techniques, Project Management, Project Evaluation, and Information Technology Applications.
He is a graduate of Agriculture College, Bapatla. He did his Post Graduation at the GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology and got his Doctorate from Iowa State University, USA, in Economics and Operations Research.
Mr. K. Venkataramanan is a Distinguished Alumni Awardee of IIT Delhi. Mr. Venkataramanan was elevated to the Board of Directors of Larsen and Toubro in May 1999 and appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director on April 1, 2012.
Mr. Venkataramanan is credited with helping in the transformation of L&T from a fabrication-driven EPC contractor to a technology-led player. He also laid the foundations for project engineering & execution and conceptualized and designed the waterfront load-out facility at Hazira (India) for large offshore platforms.
Mr. Venkataramanan was the Chairman of the FICCI Capital Goods Committee and has also chaired the CII Manufacturing Council for 2 consecutive years from 2012 to 2014.
Dr. Amarlal H Kalro, formerl Director at Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode has held various positions in Academic Administration at IIM-Ahmedabad, including Chairman PGP, Chairman FDP, Chairman Committee for Future Direction and Member of Faculty Development and Evaluation Committee. He has contributed extensively to educational policy and establishment of educational institutions during his tenure as a member of the Second Administrative Reforms Commission (2005–2009) Government of India.
He has served as Director on the boards of, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharat Oman Refineries Limited, Torrent Power SEC Limited.
Prof. Kalro got his B.Tech (Hons.) degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and his MS and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA.
She received her MBA from Boston University and is the Chairperson of Pharmaceutical company, USV Private Limited. She is an avid lover of animals and the spaces they inhabit.
She has grown up in a family where strong women, a global outlook and progressive thinking has spanned three generations. An avid reader who has written several articles in the past, her exploration of her ancestry led writing of her first book ‘Beyond Pipes & Dreams’ which is primarily a biography of her grandfather who founded USV.
She has established the “Dr. Suheela Gandhi Centre for Social Development” which is dedicated to the upliftment of underprivileged women and girls. The center has transformed the lives of girls from the Vakola slum, by empowering them to achieve their academic and career aspirations.
Prashant Tewari, Managing Director of Pharmaceutical Company, USV an Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur graduate who received a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, USA. Having started the early part of his career in designing simulators for nuclear power plants, he transitioned to pharmaceuticals in 1986.
As the Managing Director, his engineering background serves him well, both in technology and otherwise. His leadership has played an important role in the growth of USV for last 2 decades. His travel takes him to forests, around India and outside; also his fascination for birds and butterflies finds him behind the camera with beautiful photos of wildlife in his vast collection.
