One of the oldest sports in the world, Kabaddi is the pride of India.To cater to the fast & furious traditional sport, the court at Woxsen is made of foam tiles which is capable to keep cushion for knees and elbows while playing.
The PGF standard synthetic turf professional standard golf putting green with bunker and range is designed to offer a smooth putt, predictable roll, and holds a spin from a drive or chip shot. The facility is open to all Woxsen students and staff for recreation, training, and tournaments.
Woxsen University has two FIBA standard professional basketball courts with floodlights, where specialized coaching is provided to students. FIBA standard is widely used in countries around the world and is a benchmark for major tournaments such as the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
Croquet is an outdoor lawn game where each player uses a mallet to knock their ball through wickets (small wire hoops), aiming to be the first to go through all of them and strike the final stake, a thin, striped pole beyond the last wicket. Woxsen has an exquisitely groomed croquet lawn for use by students and staff at the University.
In addition to a synthetic turf volleyball court, Woxsen also has a standard size sand volleyball court. The venue is also fitted with state-of-the-art floodlights and hosts various practice and intramural sports activities.
Simulating the look, feel, and performance of synthetic turf, Woxsen's volleyball courts offer an ideal environment for practise and matches to all volleyball enthusiasts at the University.
The Woxsen Football League is an annual event that is entirely planned, organised, and executed by the student community. It simulates actual football tournaments, with an auction, player purchases, anthem design, and so on. It is just one of many annual sporting events witnessed by the Woxsen community.
Inaugurated in 2017, the Woxsen Premier League (WPL) is a flagship-sporting event that has all the features of a traditional cricket tournament. The WPL cricketing event is modelled after the Indian Premier League (IPL) and follows the same process for building teams, league matches, and bidding for players.
