ICC Standard Cricket Ground

Woxsen’s ICC-standard cricket ground is a premier sporting facility that spans over 4.36 acres of land, with a radius of 75 meters. Our stadium features high-mast floodlighting with a telecast level of 830 lux, ensuring optimal visibility for both players and spectators. This advanced lighting system meets international broadcasting standards, enhancing both live and televised experiences. The pitch crafted from natural turf is designed for all-weather play, providing an excellent surface for both bowlers and batters. Its high-quality turf ensures a consistent playing experience, vital for professional-level practice and competitions.

Maintaining the grounds to the highest standards is crucial for player safety and performance. Our cricket ground is equipped with state-of-the-art maintenance systems, including grass mowers, automated rollers, and a 360-degree irrigation system, ensuring the turf remains in peak condition. Additionally, a 14-foot pathway encircles the ground, offering students a dedicated space for jogging and walking.

At Woxsen, we focus on comprehensive player development. By dividing students into teams and assigning various roles, we emphasize the importance of coordination and communication alongside technical skills like batting and bowling. Our specialized coaches guide students in refining these abilities, preparing them for future success, including aspirations for the Olympics.

Enhancing our facilities further, a new pavilion is under construction, which will include a gym and dressing rooms, providing players with top-tier amenities. A large screen will be installed opposite the pavilion, allowing spectators to enjoy matches with an enhanced viewing experience.
