Centre for Public Policy Research
+
The primary aim of public policy is to study how the state should behave towards the emerging challenges. It needs to have mammoth resources to face the rising complexities of the modern nation-state. India is one of the fastest-growing countries in the world today. It has immense potential in human resources, natural resources and technology development. However, it is far behind in many aspects of the United Nations Human Development Index. Likewise, the United Nations's 'World Populations Prospects 2024' said that India had become the most populous country in the world in 2024. Consequently, the population growth will have tremendous pressure on the developmental initiatives of the government. Therefore, there is a demand for public policymakers who gives novelty in policy framing and gives sustainable solutions to emerging complex challenges. The COE works toward that. The COE is committed to bringing world-class faculty and doing result-oriented research. As Mahatma Gandhi said that 'In a gentle way, you can shake the world.' We here at COE in Public Policy aim to do that.
