Future Workplaces Lab: Designing Productive Cities for a Changing India

The School of Architecture & Planning, Woxsen University conducted the Future Workplaces Lab, Designing Productive Cities for a Changing India, in collaboration with Ethos Acedge, Liquid Space Studio, and Transparence 21.0.

The workshop was led by Ar. Mundrai Nagaraju, Chief Architect, Liquid Space Studio, who brought over two decades of experience in workplace design and practice.

The session explored how changing work cultures, emerging technologies, environmental concerns, and evolving urban contexts are reshaping workplaces and cities in India. Through practice insights, case studies, sketching, and interactive discussions, students engaged with questions around workplace design and the future of productive urban environments.

Students from Semesters 3, 5, and 7 took part in the workshop, connecting classroom learning with insights from professional practice, and were encouraged to think beyond conventional workplace models toward more responsive environments for the future.

A special thank you to Ar. Mundrai Nagaraju and Liquid Space Studio for sharing their knowledge and experience with our students.
