Woxsen University held the Inaugural Symposium of the Centre for Languages and Multicultural Communication (CLMC) on Monday, April 29th, 2024, marking the official launch of the Centre.
Hosted by Prof. Aishwarya Vardhani Aarugonda, the symposium was off to a great start with an inaugural address by Dr. Anik Nandi, Director of CLMC. A plenary by Prof (Dr.) Imtiaz Hasnain, Maulana Azad Chair Professor at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad, delved into the impact of language in building sustainable societies.
The highly engaging panel on "Interdisciplinary Approaches to Studying Multicultural Communication" fostered a stimulating exchange of ideas and prompted many ongoing conversations.
We look forward to the Centre's future contributions to the field.
