Woxsen University's School of Arts & Design has once again made headlines with the outstanding performance of its Semester 3 and 5 Fashion Design students. The talented group secured the third position in the prestigious Trash to Treasure Competition organized by the Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) in conjunction with the "Swachhata Hi Seva" initiative.
The competition challenged participants to showcase their creativity and innovation by transforming waste materials into stunning fashion pieces. Woxsen's students rose to the occasion, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable design and environmental responsibility. Their unique creations not only impressed the judges but also highlighted the potential of repurposing waste for fashion.
The participating students, Tasneem Madraswala, Aarya Makhariya, Shriya Bandaru, Shravani Mahajan, Madhulika Sarma, Mekala Srushika, Tanmayee Epuru, Suhrudai Nivas, Mounika Gunda, Poshitha Allu, Niharika Singhania, and Aishwarya Reddy, are to be commended for their exceptional talent and dedication.
