From Classroom Concepts to Living Design History
As part of the History of Design module, students visited the Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad, to explore its collection of art, artefacts, textiles, crafts, decorative objects, and cultural treasures.
The visit encouraged students to look at history not just as a subject, but as a source of inspiration for design. Observing objects, materials, craftsmanship, forms, motifs, colours, and details firsthand helped students better understand how design has evolved across cultures and time.
A day of exploration, observation, and learning beyond the classroom.
