As part of their Architectural Design Studio V, B.Arch. 2024 batch students visited Bengaluru to explore significant architectural and heritage sites, including Chikkajala Fort, Freedom Park, and IIM Bangalore.
Chikkajala Fort, the site for the Major Design Competition organised by Sanjay Mohe Architects, offered first-hand exposure to its historical and design context. Visits to Freedom Park and IIM Bangalore further strengthened students’ understanding of adaptive reuse, heritage conservation, and the integration of built and natural environments—informing their context-sensitive and sustainable design proposals.
