Awaaz 2.0, a Law Public Speaking Competition organized by the Centre of Talent Development in association with the School of Law, Woxsen University, centred around one of the most consequential documents in modern legal and human-rights history, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
With 17 participants from the School of Law and the School of Technology, the event brought an exchange of perspectives as students explored and articulated diverse rights enshrined in the UDHR, each speaker bringing a distinctive voice to the forum.
The performances reflected strong communication skills, critical thinking, structured argumentation, persuasive ability, and confidence, showing that effective public speaking depends on thinking deeply, reasoning coherently, and communicating with clarity and purpose.
Our appreciation to every participant for stepping forward and giving these fundamental rights a voice of their own.
Awaaz 3.0 is coming next, and this time the plan is to invite leading law schools from across the country, bringing together a larger gathering of young legal minds for a national conversation on ideas, argument, and perspective.
If you are a law student, an aspiring advocate, or someone who enjoys watching ideas debated and perspectives tested, keep an eye out for what's next.
