We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Industrial Design Faculty member to join our academic team. 

Qualification :

Ph.D. / M.Des in Industrial Design

Desirable Skills: 

Product Design, Industrial Design, Digital Product Design, UI/ UX, Design Software (e.g. Rhino, Auto Desk, etc.) 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and deliver course materials in Industrial design, including lectures, presentations, assignments, and assessments. 

• Mentor and advise students in Industrial design, including assisting with portfolio development, career planning, and job placement. 

• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their work, including critiques of design projects, written assignments, and presentations. 

• Collaborate with other faculty members in the department and across the university to develop interdisciplinary courses and projects. 

• Participate in departmental and university-wide activities, including faculty meetings, committees, and events. 

• Stay current with developments in the field of Industrial design, including new technologies, materials, and techniques, and incorporate them into course materials and teaching methods. 

• Engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publication, and conference presentations, to enhance the department's reputation and contribute to the field. 

Requirements: 

• Demonstrated expertise in Industrial design, including a strong portfolio of design work and experience with design software and tools. 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills. 

• Commitment to student-centered teaching and to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and beyond. 

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work effectively in a team environment. 

• Demonstrated ability to engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publication, and conference presentations.
