Woxsen University conducted a comprehensive fire evacuation mock drill as part of its ongoing commitment to campus safety and emergency preparedness. The drill was led by Mr. A. Bikshapathi, SFO, Sadasivpet, along with Mr. Alluru Rama Krishna Verma, Mr. Shashikant Upadhyay, and Mr. Venkat Sridhar.
The exercise saw the active participation of 148 students and was completed efficiently evacuated within 12 minutes, showcasing strong coordination and adherence to safety protocols. The drill included live demonstrations of fire extinguisher usage, evacuation procedures, and emergency response techniques, offering students practical, hands-on exposure to real-life safety scenarios and reinforcing the importance of preparedness, awareness, and calm response during emergencies. The participation of 40 housekeeping staff, 40 security personnel, 15 wardens, and over 20 plumbing and electrical staff provided valuable on-ground evacuation support and expertise.
