Woxsen University Concludes Japan RSP, Advancing Curriculum-Integrated and Experiential Global Learning in Architecture and Design

Feb 03, 2026

The Relative Study Program (RSP) conducted for Japan visit accessing Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo concluded as a powerful example of curriculum-integrated, experiential learning for students and faculty of the Schools of Architecture and School of Arts and Design.

More than a study tour, the RSP enabled students to critically engage with architecture, urbanism, interiors, culture, and everyday life—translating global insights into Indian academic studios ranging from urban riverfronts and housing to wellness, culinary spaces, and interior systems.

For faculty, the RSP strengthened experiential pedagogy, aligned international exposure and laid the groundwork for future research and global academic collaborations.

As we take these learnings forward through the Polaris Initiative, the focus remains on outcome-based, student-centric, and globally informed education, rooted in Indian context.

Grateful to the Woxsen University leadership, management, and team of School of Architecture and Planning for their continued support, and to the faculty and students whose commitment made this RSP meaningful and impactful.

Learning beyond classrooms. Aligned with purpose. Guided by Polaris.
