Residential Study Programme (RSP) | Japan ????????
Excited to share that 6 Interior Design students from SOAD are currently in Japan along with students from SOAP, exploring a 14-day Residential Study Programme across Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo.
Curated and led by Ar. Atul Saraff, the programme focuses on “Integration of Traditional Methodology in Contemporary Architecture and Design.” Students are engaging with Japan’s rich architectural journey: from Zen gardens and historic temples to contemporary icons like the Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower and Tokyo International Forum.
This immersive journey culminates in a Capstone Project and a published documentation book, marking a meaningful academic milestone before the final thesis phase.
