Woxsen University proudly congratulates Mr. Bhavani Singh, Senior Manager – Life Skills Trainer, Centre for Talent Development (COTD), on being selected to represent India at the International Postgraduate Conference in Translation and Interpreting (IPICITI) hosted by the University of Warwick, Birmingham, UK.
His paper, titled “Between Algorithm and Authenticity: Machine Translation and Cultural Politics of O.V. Vijayan’s Malayalam Literature,” explores how meaning, nuance, and emotion transcend beyond coded language — a perspective that deeply resonates with his work in Life Skills and Human Communication at Woxsen.
Through his research, Mr. Singh highlights the balance between technology and human essence, reminding us that while algorithms may process words, it is authenticity and empathy that truly connect people — values central to COTD’s mission at Woxsen University.
We wish him great success as he carries forward the depth of Indian thought, language, and life skills philosophy onto a global platform.
