Organised by the School of Law and School of Business, and driven as an initiative by the Woxsen Debate Club, Debate Series 2026 marked the first step into the globally recognised British Parliamentary format—an experience that went far beyond competition.
With the motion “This House Believes the US Intervention in Venezuela Was Not Justified,” participants engaged in a dynamic exchange of ideas—navigating law, morality, and geopolitics with depth and agility.
From quick thinking and strategic rebuttals to handling POIs and building extensions, the debate reflected the true spirit of BP—where structure meets spontaneity and critical thinking takes centre stage.
The event saw valuable contributions from the esteemed jury, faculty coordinators, and participants, making it an intellectually engaging and impactful experience.
