The School of Architecture & Planning at Woxsen University recently held a two-day workshop led by Ar. Sathya Prakash Varanashi, coordinated by Asst. Professors Rajeshwar Rao G, Sanjana Gupta, and Abhishek Kawale. The event provided an immersive learning experience for 3rd and 5th-semester students.
Day 1 included site visits, where students explored design processes and building technologies at Ar. Sathya's residential project, with a focus on using local materials. Day 2 emphasized faculty development and included hands-on workshops where students practiced brick bonds, such as the rat-trap bond, and performed on-site soil testing.
Such workshops offer invaluable insights, equipping students and faculty to drive innovation and sustainability in architecture.
