Wellness Coordinator

Job Description:

The Wellness Coordinator will be an integral part of the Wellness Centre team. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the team to plan and execute wellness initiatives, as well as provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Centre.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Wellness Coordinator include:

  • Planning, coordinating, and ideating wellness sessions and workshops.
  • Developing and implementing wellness programs that align with the needs and interests of students, faculty, and staff.
  • Creating and managing the Wellness Center's social media presence to promote upcoming events and programs.
  • Collaborating with other organizations to develop partnerships and outreach initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate records of outcomes for all wellness programs.
  • Assisting the Head of the Wellness Centre with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records.
  • Providing support to Community Service Volunteers as needed.
  • Any other tasks as assigned.


The Wellness Coordinator should have the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in a related field such as Psychology, Health Education, Public Health.
  • Experience in organizing mental health initiatives and support groups, preferably in a University setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
