The Student Discipline Officer is responsible for maintaining student discipline and enforcing university policies and procedures. The successful candidate will investigate student complaints and allegations of policy violations, manage the disciplinary process, and work closely with other university departments to ensure a safe and secure campus environment.
• Enforce university policies and procedures related to student behavior and conduct
• Investigate and respond to student complaints and allegations of policy violations
• Manage the disciplinary process, including organizing disciplinary hearings and implementing sanctions
• Work closely with academic and administrative departments to maintain a safe and secure campus environment
• Develop and deliver educational programs on student conduct and discipline for the campus community
• Maintain accurate records of all disciplinary actions and outcomes
• Serve as a resource for students, faculty, and staff on issues related to student discipline and conduct
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student discipline and conduct
• Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of experience in student discipline, conduct, or related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to student discipline and conduct
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary
• Fluency in English and Hindi required; proficiency in additional Indian languages preferred
