About The Woxsen LAW Review

The Woxsen Law Review is the flagship review of the School of Law, Woxsen University, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is a biannual review which provides an extensive platform to the academicians, Practitioners, researchers, judges and jurists, and students to assimilate exchange and extend their ideas to facilitate the debate on contemporary legal issues through their scholarly articles and research papers. The journal assumes an inter-disciplinary orientation and is wide enough to include national as well as international legal and policy-based issues within its sweep. The Woxsen Law Review is enthusiastic to receive cerebral responses aiming at raising the bar of academic research with insightful and pertinent contributions to the legal discourse. Woxsen Law Review invites chapters in the form of Research Papers, Articles & Essays, Case Comments/Legislative Comments, Notes, Book Reviews, and other such submission for its flagship publication.

Categories Of Submission

Research Papers: 4,500 to 8,000 words

Case Comments/ Legislative Comments and Notes: 1,800 to 3,000 words

Articles and Essays: 3000 to 6000 words

Book Reviews: 1,500 to 2,500 words

Submission Guidelines

Submissions must be in electronic form sent via email to LawReview@woxsen.edu.in

The word limit for the Abstract is 300 words accompanied with 5 keywords.

The submission shall not contain the name of the author or institutional affiliation or any other identification mark (except in cover letter).

 Submission shall be sent in .doc or .docx format only.

A separate cover letter in (.doc) or (.docx) format containing following particulars of the author(s) is to be sent along with the submission: a) Title of Submission, b) Name of the Author and Co-Author(s), c) Designation, d) Institutional Affiliation, e) Contact Information and Address for Correspondence.

Co-authorship: Co-Authorship of up to two authors is permitted...

Formatting Guidelines

Font must be Times New Roman and sized 12 for the main text, and 10 for footnotes.

Line Spacing must be 1.5 for main text and 1.0 for footnotes.

Alignment must be justified. Headings: The heading should be used as per the following style: First heading: 12pt, Bold Centre, second heading: 12pt, Bold Left aligned, third heading 12pt, Italics left.

Citation Style

Harvard Bluebook:  A Uniform System of Citation (20th Edition).

Publication Policy

The Submissions must be original. Plagiarism up to 10% is permissible. The author(s) are expected to submit a declaration of originality with their submission. Submission of work demonstrates that the authors confer exclusive permission to SUN Law Journal in order to publish and reproduce their work in all streams of media. In addition to this, the editors are entitled to reserve to delete or edit any article, research paper, case comment and book review whose content is found to be offensive, defamatory, unethical, or if it is suggestive of gender or religious discrimination, illegal or terror activities etc. Moreover, the double- blind peer review process will be exercised to scrutinize all the submissions.
