The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is a global association which connects educators, students, and business to achieve the goal of creating the next generation of leaders.

AACSB has been synonymous with the highest standards of excellence in business education since 1916, Woxsen is a member of the Global AACSB Business Education Alliance which sets it apart from the large majority of business schools which function as standalone institutions without the benefit of support from a global network of top business schools.

When educational, professionals and business organizations become members of the AACSB Business Education Alliance, they are part of a movement united to improve the quality of business education around the world. AACSB connects, shares, and inspires innovation and quality throughout the member network, as well as the business community. As a member of AACSB’s Business Education Alliance Woxsen is able to reach out to institutions with similar goals and challenges, strategize with an international group of individuals who have similar roles at business schools, share experiences with other experts, or lead discussions on emerging management education issues. Built exclusively for members, the AACSB Exchange is a global online network that allows Woxsen to directly communicate and share resources with peer management educators.

Woxsen, within a very short span, has become a member of the AMBA DEVELOPMENT NETWORK (ADN). Membership of the ADN demonstrates Woxsen’s commitment to quality in postgraduate management education.

AMBA, The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is the international impartial authority on postgraduate business education and was established in 1967 and provides accreditation to management schools worldwide. At the core of the accreditation scheme of AMBA is full recognition of the autonomy of individual degree awarding institutions to offer MBA programmes and of the need for individuals and employers to have an internationally recognized accreditation process based on external and peer review of MBA provision.

Accreditation assesses the current standards of postgraduate management education offered at an institution while promoting a developmental philosophy and a commitment to continual improvement. Institutions gaining accreditation are expected to maintain and demonstrate this commitment to regular improvement within their own programmes over the duration of each accreditation period.”


The Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) was established in 1988, with the initiative of leading management development institutions in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region. AMDISA is a “SAARC Recognized Body”. Its Reciprocal Members are Institutions with similar objectives outside South Asia and includes Institutions such as Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, USA; European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), Belgium; Russian Association of Business Education (RABE), Russia; Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN), Slovenia; Association of Business Schools (ABS), UK; Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM), Australia, etc. The mission of AMDISA is to “Promote management excellence in South Asia by networking management development institutions and facilitating their partnership with corporate enterprises and public agencies in the region.” This is the only Association which networks management development institutions across the South Asian nations, through exchange of information, conducting regional conferences and providing a forum for academics and business leaders. The Association interfaces business schools with leaders interested in management development; promotes professional development of management faculty; provides institution-building assistance to business schools and corporate management development centers in the region. AMDISA organizes institution-building workshops for Heads of Institutions, Faculty Workshops on frontier areas of management and inter-institutional cooperative research on contemporary managerial issues in South Asia. AMDISA launched a global benchmark quality assurance and accreditation system for Business Schools in this part of the world called as South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS). SAQS is the South Asian system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. AMDISA facilitates standard setting, benchmarking, mutual learning, and the dissemination of good practice across borders.

EFMD is a membership-driven, global, non-profit organization devoted to management advancement. It is a well-known accreditation body for private colleges, business school programs, and corporate universities all around the world. EFMD is a network for schools and businesses that want to collaborate in order to develop socially responsible leaders and managers.

Responsible Research for Business and Management (RRBM) is dedicated to inspiring, encouraging, and supporting credible and useful research in the business and management disciplines. Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India has established ‘MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC)’ to systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
